Meet Dr. Thomas

Doctor Carly Thomas, we like to call her "Dr. Carly", is a pediatric dental specialist.  With her creative imagination, she gets children excited about their dental health, helping them to develop healthy habits that last.

 

Dr. Carly attended Phillips University then continued on to earn her doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.  After graduating from dental school, Dr. Carly underwent 2 years of additional training in pediatric dentistry, which included a hospital residency.  During this time, she learned how to deal with apprehensive children and perform many sedation techniques.  Dr. Carly has recently became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

 

She has excelled in her specialty and is a member of many professional associations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

 

Dr. Carly and her husband, James, are natives of Valdosta.  They were married here in 1995 and are the proud parents of four delightful children.  In her spare time (and she doesn't have too much), Dr. Carly enjoys working in the community with the Valdosta Junior Service League.
